Guild statement & rules
Guild Statement
Take10 was formed by a group of members who wanted to experience as much as possible of WoW without sacrificing everything else to do it.
Our main goal is to try to complete all 10-man raid content before new content is added.

We follow GuildOx 10-man strict rating, which means that a member is not allowed to raid in 25-man instances that is considered by GuildOx to be top item-level. More info about GuildOx and the rating can be found here.

We have a few core values:
  • We are all a bit older. We have an age limit of 25. We can make exceptions if there are good reasons for it.
  • We raid later than normal. We start around 21-22.00 CET and raid until midnight on weekdays or a bit longer during the weekends.
  • RL > WoW. Real life comes first. KID BRB is not an uncommon shout during a raid and is something we accept. We also don't have any attendance requirements. Raid once a month if you want, or sign up for all raids - it's your choice.
  • We try raid 2-3 times a week. That means, we schedule that many but sometimes it'll be less or more.
  • We use Master Looted common sense for looting. We roll for items that suit our needs, but the ML also has the right to give an item to a raider who he feels benefits from it more or did something exceptional. And if you won something earlier in the night, you might have to pass so all get some loot.
  • Our main raid target is 10-man instances. We are not saying we will never ever raid 25-mans, but it is not our focus.

CODE OF CONDUCT
Guild members are not to violate the Terms of Use set by Blizzard. Also, all inappropriate behaviour which may reflect negatively onto the guild, e.g. immature general chat/trade channel/yell spam or ninja looting may be considered a breach of CoC. We are a mature guild and expect all members to act accordingly and follow the rules of the game.

You are also to treat your fellow members with respect and never belittle their effort.

Examples of violation of ToU: Account sharing, use of bots (like glider), bug exploits, account trading, buying gold.
These types of actions are viewed strictly from Blizzard with account suspensions or bans as punishment and it's not something we ever want our guild associated with.

Official Blizzard documents:
Termination of Service
Terms of Use
Game Policies

Failure to comply with the code of conduct may resort, depending on severity, in a ban from raiding or removal from the guild.

RAIDING
While we are casual in spirit and you aren't required to raid with us at all if you don't want to, we do expect you to perform when we do raid.

What does that mean?

You are required to:
  • Read up on tactics
  • Bring food
  • Either bring flasks or buy from GB
  • Open mind and focused while raiding.

Obviously distractions like Mr/Mrs/Kid/Dog/Cat calling are ok and part of our RL > WoW mentality.

We all make mistakes and cause wipes but as long as we learn from them and try to improve it is all good.

Also, we follow GuildOx 10-man strict rating, which means that you as a member is not allowed to raid any 25-man raids that is currently measured by GuildOx (usually latest instance and hard modes). Check GuildOx for latest info.

SIGNUPS
We use the calendar on the site for planning (found here).

For signups we use a mix of the following to pick a team:
  • Signup time
  • Class mix
  • Giving all a chance (e.g. if person A has raided last 3 times and person B with same traits as A, but only raided 1, person B gets the spot)

GUILD BANK
The Guild Bank is there to serve and help the Guild.

Deposits:
Everyone may deposit items into GB. However, we ask to NOT deposit stuff like ammo, buff-less food and cloth.

Once you've deposited your item into the bank you forfeit your right to that item and cannot ask for compensation for it. If the item is still in the GB you may however ask for a withdraw, just like as long as it follows the withdrawal rules below.

Withdrawals:
All items below rare are free for everyone to withdraw, by contacting a guild officer. Items withdrawn may NOT be sold, auctioned, power-level a craft or in any other way be used for personal profit.

They may however be used to make a weapon, a piece of armour or pots that will benefit your raiding.

Pots, food and similar can be bought for 50% of average Auction House price. The GB opens for purchases around 30 minutes before each raid.
